Terms of Service — Page Performance

Last updated: 10 August 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Page Performance Chrome extension.

By installing or using Page Performance, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Page Performance

Page Performance is a browser extension developed by Nuno Barreto.

It provides page-level and website-level analytics by presenting data from Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console within a Chrome side panel.

2. Google account access

Some Page Performance features require you to connect a Google account.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary authority and permissions to access any Google Analytics or Search Console account, property, website or data that you use with Page Performance.

Page Performance requests read-only Google API permissions and is not designed to modify Google Analytics or Google Search Console data. You may disconnect your Google account at any time.

3. License to use Page Performance

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Page Performance for lawful personal or professional purposes.

You may not:

  • use Page Performance in violation of applicable law;
  • attempt to circumvent security or access controls;
  • use the extension to access data that you are not authorized to access;
  • reverse engineer, reproduce, redistribute or resell the extension except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • interfere with the operation of Page Performance, Google APIs or related services.

4. Third-party services

Page Performance relies on third-party services provided by Google, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google OAuth and Chrome.

Your use of those services remains subject to the applicable Google terms, policies, quotas and availability. Page Performance has no control over changes, interruptions, restrictions or discontinuation of third-party APIs or services.

5. Data and privacy

The handling of information by Page Performance is described in the Page Performance Privacy Policy.

By using features that require Google authorization, you instruct Page Performance to access the Google data necessary to provide those features within the permissions you have granted.

6. Accuracy of information

Page Performance presents and derives information from data returned by Google APIs. Analytics and search data may be delayed, sampled, thresholded, incomplete, changed by Google or affected by the configuration of the underlying Google Analytics or Search Console property.

Page Performance does not guarantee that reports, comparisons, calculations or insights are complete, current or error-free. You remain responsible for validating information before relying on it for business decisions.

7. No professional advice

Information displayed by Page Performance is provided for analytical and informational purposes. It does not constitute legal, financial, tax or other regulated professional advice.

8. Availability and changes

Page Performance may be updated, modified, suspended or discontinued at any time. Features may change in response to browser changes, Google API changes, security requirements or product development.

No guarantee is made that every feature will remain available indefinitely.

9. Intellectual property

Except for third-party trademarks and services, Page Performance, its interface, code, branding and original content are owned by or licensed to Nuno Barreto and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Chrome and related Google marks are trademarks of Google LLC. Page Performance is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Page Performance is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

No warranty is made that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose or compatible with every website, Google Analytics property, Search Console property, Chrome version or Google API configuration.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nuno Barreto will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from the use of or inability to use Page Performance, including loss of revenue, profits, data or business opportunities.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Termination

You may stop using Page Performance at any time by signing out and uninstalling the extension.

Access may be suspended or terminated where necessary to protect users, comply with legal obligations, prevent misuse or respond to changes in third-party platform requirements.

13. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.

Continued use of Page Performance after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply under the laws of the user's country of residence.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms or Page Performance can be submitted through the Page Performance support page.
